Life changes and can be challenging at times. We all seek to act with integrity as we make choices. Leading is not a simple capability. Being able to communicate outcomes in a compelling way is essential to lead others. Leaders must align words and actions to be seen as congruent.
And yet there is no single formula for leading with integrity. You must first discover yourself what you want to achieve and then explore how others tick and are motivated to act and finally be able to stand back and look at the wisdom of an intended action before it is taken. Once all this is done then you can begin to lead and live life with integrity.
This Leadership and Life with Integrity programme will help you discover what this means for you.
Firstly, the programme will enable you to learn about yourself, your motivations and beliefs and how they impact the outcomes you want. This will also illuminate some things that explain why you don’t always achieve what you are capable of. The first platform is you.
The second platform is understanding those whom you want to influence. Having ways of exploring how other people tick and being able to quickly recognise ways of building rapport with them will make you a more powerful person. This will hugely extend your abilities to connect, relate and lead people to understand what is important to you. By understanding other people’s worlds and what is important to them you can begin to lead with integrity.
The ability to stand outside and take a view of where things are going right, and where they are not, and then have models to change things is the third platform of the programme. By mastering all of these you will become more the person you want to be and become a better leader of others.
The Leadership and Life with Integrity programme will bring together about 12 people over a 6 month period. You will be facilitated by Fields of Learning’s team of Master Practitioners, led by Catherine Doherty (Director of Fields of Learning) and Lucy Hampton and supported by Jacquie Campbell.
You will be supported throughout the course by a learning buddy, and you in turn will experience the delights and challenges of supporting a colleague on the programme. The group learning environment also provides a mutually supportive and safely challenging environment in which to practice and learn from everyone on the programme before applying your learning in your ‘real’ world.’
There are 6 modules to the programme which will take place in the idyllic rural settings of Eversholt. Each module will focus on a particular area of learning and development and you are always encouraged to experience what you are learning about in order to ‘get it in the muscle’. The final module is called Integration and will allow you to demonstrate what you have learnt.
The course teaches and uses the powerful tools and techniques of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and on successful completion of the integration days participants will graduate as certified NLP practitioners.
